Product Description
The XIANDAO portfolio of spray dryers for chemical industry include the conventional one-stage XIANDAO spray dryer that has formed the basis for the development of other XIANDAO spray dryers.
The conventional XIANDAO spray dryer is available with a XIANDAO rotary atomizer (co-current air flow) as well as with high pressure nozzles in both co-current and counter-current air flow. Equipped with the rotary atomizer or with high pressure nozzles, powders with a mean particle diameter (D50) between 0.02-0.2 mm can be produced. With low pressure nozzles, a mean particle diameter (D50) between 0.1-0.3 mm can be obtained - all depending on the product.
The spray dryer is available with one or two point product discharge. A XIANDAO VIBRO FLUIDIZER can be connected to the drying hamber base for the final drying/cooling of the product. By choosing this drying mode, the plant becomes a two-stage dryer with improved energy consumption, increased capacity and in some cases even an improved product quality as a result.

The conventional XIANDAO spray dryer is a very flexible and cost efficient solution with regards to both investment and operation. It is designed to meet the requirements of customers and their local authorities, and as such it is available as:
Plants with highly effective filters and/or scrubbers to ensure emission of clean exhaust process air.
Semi closed plants utilizing low oxygen combustion gas as process air
Semi closed plants, self-inertised and featuring incineration of the exhaust air
Closed cycle concept with nitrogen purged process gas circuit
