The XIANDAO VERSATILE-SD spray dryers belongs to a range of versatile production-scale spray dryers. They can be used in the producetion of a wide range of products - from advanced cramics and catalysts to flavours, herbal extracts and food ingredients.
The XIANDAO VERSATILE-SD come in several size; Ranging from size 6.3 and 12.5 to semi-industrial size plants of size 25 and 50. An industrial size plant - size 80 - is also available. All are modular spray dryers designed to use the same modules and configurations for different production capacities and product requirements.
To select the ideal configuration, tests can be conducted at the XIANDAO Test Center.

Alternative atomizing systems
The VERSATILE-SD spray dryers can use five types of atomizing devices:
Rotary atomizer
Two-fluid nozzle, co-current
Two-fluid nozzle, fountain mode
Pressure nozzle, co-current
Pressure nozzle, fountain mode
They can be equipped with several alternative atomizing systems, allowing you to switch product while still maintaining the optimum process solution, and be equipped for spray congealing applications. Closed-cycle design for operation with organic solvents or reinforced design with venting or suppression systems for dust explosion protection is available.
