Product Description
The XIANDAO SDA absorber chamber is normally a cylindrical construction in mild steel with a coned bottom. The flue gas enters the absorber via the gas disperser(s) and leaves through an outlet duct placed in the coned bottom.
The rotary atomizer is installed centrally in the spray dryer absorber, encircled by the outlet from the roof gas disperser in which way the gas mixes up with the atomized absorbent slurry feed. The central gas disperser, is placed directly underneath the atomizer when used so that the atomizer cloud is lifted for better gas/liquid contact.
The size of the absorber chamber depends on the flue gas amount and properties and the shape varies with the type of gas disperser. In the bottom of the absorber cone, an outlet for larger particles is placed. A crusher should also be installed in order to allow for the passage of bigger size material.
XIANDAO Process Engineering is constantly developing and optimizing the design of our technologies, including the design and size of the SDA absorber chamber and gas disperser. We are now able to treat more than 2.000.000 Nm3/h in a single absorber chamber and we are still striving to design the SDA for even higher gas loads.
