A XIANDAO FSD-Granulator is an addition to the XIANDAO FSD Fluidized Spray Dryer. It produces a coarse, agglomerated, free-flowing dustless powder consisting of larger granulates than can be produced in a traditional Fluidized Spray Dryer-even when the product is difficult to agglomerate due to the lack of proper binding materials.
The concept
The XIANDAO FSD-GRANULATOR allows additional liquid to be added in the stationary back mix fluid bed. Depending on the requirements, the liquid added may be water or have the same composition as the feed or be a different product.
When the powder has reached a certain moisture content and the desired agglomerate size, it is discharged into a XIANDAO VIBRO-FLUIDIZER for final drying and cooling.
Product quality
Powder quality for a wide variety of products including dyestuff, agrochemicals, inorganic salts and organic salts as well as tannins from this type of spray dryer are used as a benchmark worldwide.
