Spray Cooler Sc

XIANDAO's spray cooler SC is very flexible and characterized by its ability to produce a spray cooled powder according to specific particle size requirements for the final product.

The cooling media in form of cold air, either directly from the outside or in a closed cycle via an air cooler, is distributed through a specially designed air distributor placed at the ceiling of the spray cooling chamber. The atomization is done by either a rotary atomizer or pressure nozzles.

A spray cooler for instant mono-glycerides is typically a flat bottomed plant with a rotating vacuum device to remove the spray cooled product from the bottom of the spray cooling chamber together with the cooling air. The spray cooled product is separated off in a bag filter. For melts that solidify slowly, select a spray cooling plant with a conical bottom with a fountain nozzle and add a VIBRO-FLUIDIZER as an after cooler.

For big particles (up to 2000 microns), use an atomizer with a prilling wheel or our Fluidized Spray Cooler FSC.
